Nowadays conventional construction practice such as material production, construction, and demolition holds a role in environmental pollution. During cement manufacturing, varying gases are released to the environment due to heating of clay and limestone. About 2.7 billion tons of carbon dioxide released from manufacturing of cement in 2021 [6]. Similarly, one recent study shows that, about 8.7 gigatons, which is about 10% of the world emission, of carbon dioxide is from construction sector [7]. Other study done by Zhao et al. [8] also pointed out that, in 2019 the total waste produced from demolition and construction in China alone accounts about 2300 million tones became the largest construction and demolition waste producer in the world. These all the above study shows that construction sector has greater contribution on environmental pollution

For Noelle Stevenson, executive producer of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, this was the perfect way to make world building feel natural and develop the characters.

In worldbuilding justice is relative. In its own time the Magna Carta was a significant step forward for human rights despite leaving the overwhelming majority of the English population powerless and voiceless. It is difficult to have a functional republic when the world is turbulent and almost no one is literate or educated; if a novel is set in a premodern world then an unstable republic (Commonwealth of England, First French Republic) may be a far worse place to live than a stable monarchy with legal rights (1660 Restoration of British Monarchy, 1814 Restoration of Bourbon Monarchy).
The map is the world on which a game of takes place. Most use premade maps, but other types of games allow players to choose their own map script and let the game generate a world for them.The map consists of a rectangular set of hexagonal tiles, and comes in six sizes. In most cases, the map will be cylindrical with wraparound on an east-west axis, with impassible ice caps at the northern and southern edges.
Dishonored doesn't waste any time drawing you into its richly detailed world. As royal protector Corvo Attano, you return from a mission on a far-off shore only to see the Empress murdered before your eyes and her daughter Emily (who shares a quickly established close relationship with Corvo), kidnapped by the perpetrators. Framed for the crimes, you quickly bust out of prison with the assistance of a small band of rebels who want to help you clear your name and restore Emily to her rightful place on the throne over a conniving Lord Regent. Doing this means donning a metallic mask and going out to eliminate key players in the country's social and political scene.
Dishonored's steampunk-infused mix of old-world sensibilities and modern trappings is also a lot more memorable than any of the by-the-numbers plot points that take place inside of it. The game crafts a downright elegant mixture of Victorian-era propriety with magical metal-and-wood technology, driven by an abundant supply of whale oil. You're just as likely to run into an old-fashioned, sword-wielding guard as an imposing, three-story-tall Tallboy walker that hurls grenades from atop steel legs. Old-fashioned, spring-loaded traps exist next to crackling, electrical "walls of light" that vaporize anything that gets too close.
Corvo also has a handful of offensive superpowers available, but I didn't find them quite as useful. That's mostly because, for all the game's talk of letting players decide between stealth or action, Dishonored is ever-so-slightly tilted toward sneaking around over running in with guns blazing. The game's "chaos system" reprimands you for killing too many people by filling the world with shambling zombies (don't ask me to explain the backstory justification for this) and giving you a "worse" ending at the end of the game if you're too lethal. Further, the limited selection of projectile weapons in the game tend to be pretty inaccurate and limited in ammo, unless you're willing to invest heavily in upgrades later in the game.
Dishonored is the kind of game that makes you understand why sequels are so prevalent in this industry, because as soon as it's done you find yourself wanting to dive back into its rich and compelling world. For Arkane Studios to throw out all that work just for the sake of creating something new would be just as disappointing as trying to extend the world of a lesser game long after it has ceased to be interesting.
Popular demand for democracy remains strong. From Sudan to Myanmar, people continue to risk their lives in the pursuit of freedom in their countries. Many others undertake dangerous journeys in order to live freely elsewhere. Democratic governments and societies must harness and support this common desire for fundamental rights and build a world in which it is ultimately fulfilled.
Democracy is also more than just an ideal. It is a practical engine of self-correction and improvement that empowers people to constantly, peacefully struggle toward that ideal. When one part of the system falters, the others can be used as tools to repair and strengthen it. This unique and inherent capacity for self-correction is what makes democracy so successful at delivering long-term stability and prosperity. No democracy in the real world is perfect, and those demanding democracy in places like Cuba and Hong Kong are not demanding perfection. What they desire are the freedoms and the institutions that will allow them to create a better life and a more just society over time.
Authoritarian leaders are no longer isolated holdouts in a democratizing world. Instead they are actively collaborating with one another to spread new forms of repression and rebuff democratic pressure. While many democracies have continued to respond to sham elections and coups with measures like sanctions and the withholding of aid, the impact has been diluted by autocratic alliances.
As foreign autocrats resort to increasingly brazen forms of repression to entrench themselves in office and support authoritarian influences around the world, undemocratic forces in the United States have engaged in their own efforts to undermine institutions that are designed to check their power and protect the rights of all Americans.

Now, in many ways duergar have more in common with drow than they do with dwarves of the world above. Both duergar and drow deal with the constant stress of their aberrant war and rely on each other with undying trust.
My favorite visual clue of the antiquity of the world is in the very frozen north. If you explore a little, you can come across a mammoth frozen in the ice. The best part is, all manner of weapons are frozen with it, indicating that this mammoth was killed, only to be covered in ice moments later. It was a brilliant visual that lent itself well to the feeling of history held by the world.
Steven Erikson, of whom I am a huge fan, manages this brilliantly in his Malazan Book of the Fallen series. I still to this day, though it has been years since I read the book, can recall the scene where three unlikely travelers are crossing a desert. For a brief moment, Erikson takes the action away from the group to describe how the wind uncovers a few shards of archaic pottery, evidence of a long-forgotten civilization, only to cover it over again with blowing sand. That one small description, unnecessary to the action at hand (crossing the desert), added such depth and weight to the world and was, in fact, one of the things that stuck most with me.
